[attr="class","opmindblurb1fac"]The Council is the current ruling body of Eos. It holds influence over every facet of life in the kingdom and exists not only to govern the regulation of magic, but enacts authority over trade, business, education, housing and law. Its Agents act as Eos' police and military, and all Council Members tend to be capable mages. In an effort to maintain their power and stability, many of the members of the Council are expected to be able to hold their own in combat and situations of war.[break][break]

The typical recognition symbol for council officials is an iron medallion with the recognizable iron cross embossed into it ✠. This is usually carried alongside a sash worn over the regular outfit issued in a blue-grey color scheme. Council officials do not necessarily adhere to a dresscode, but modest appearances are encouraged, and breaches of the unspoken dress code are usually frowned upon.[break][break][break]
